Crown (Ancestors II - 03/2022)

It was the memory that took me so far, to the beginning, to childhood, my town, my family, my beloved grandmother Lola's house where every Sunday after lunch we would get together with the cousins, to play in the sunny patio with a huge bougainvillea in the middle, to my messy home with my brothers screaming and me asking and wishing for a bit of silence, waiting for the stillness of the siesta to immerse myself in my world, reading romantic novels, or gluing figurines with glitter or cut flowers from the garden to crown my head and declare myself queen drinking tea with a kettle that no one used.

Today comes to my lucid conscience the memory of those happy moments that come to raise in the deepest depths of my being that girl I was and the woman I am today.
