What if freedom… (Traces - 06/2025)
Be a free spirit, enough of bindings.
Travel this world.
Visit every garden there is; there are many, varied, and beautiful.
Seek a new life with wings.
What if freedom, for some, means being anchored to a piece of land, sinking their hands into it and opening furrows?
What if freedom means finding a place where one can feel safe and protected from thorns?
And what if the greatest freedom of all is being able to free yourself from the suffering and harm others may have caused you, so that you can finally bloom?
And what if for some, freedom is having a simple, peaceful life, relatively isolated from the world, yet open enough to let affection in?
And what if freedom is letting go of other people’s gazes? Letting nature envelop you, distancing yourself from images, from expectations, and from the mandates you’re supposed to obey?
And what if freedom is choosing how far you want to fly from a certain place and how close you want to remain to others?
What if pursuing something that excites and inspires you grants you freedom?
What if freedom is connecting with your past and accepting it?
Is it a spring afternoon, enveloped in the sweetest fragrance, in a peaceful and sheltered place?
And if freedom is hearing children's laughter, the cicadas' song, sensing the smell the damp earth and staying still, very still and peaceful in one place?
What if sometimes the only option is to resist until you achieve freedom?
What if the final freedom is to let oneself be embraced in that vast garden of white nards that blooms beyond time?
And if freedom means burying the shadows of the past, not letting guilt conquer you, removing the withered leaves and fertilizing the ground you walk on?
What if freedom is allowing yourself to be dazzled by the colors of someone else's garden and breathe in its beauty, but only staying there if your seed can bloom?
What if freedom…

The lives (we have) (NAT Art Residency - 06/2024)
How scary, I can't hear the heartbeats,
how painful, my soul is torn apart
nothing matters anymore…
What a pleasure, that light,
it embraces me, it envelops me, it calms me,
it invites me to stay.
No, no, no, NO! … no
Those hands, so many hands,
Are they helping me?
They are helping me.
It's not time, not now,
I need him, he needs me
He is my light.
Thank you

Not now and sorry
