Neda Olguín Frontini

Visual artist - Photographer - Graphic Designer - Hiker

She has always been linked to the visual and environmental areas through the studies she received and the projects in which she has been developed.

She has exhibited her work in institutional spaces and private galleries. She has played different roles in project management and coordination.

Her latest project, from the grant from the Fondo Nacional de las Artes de Argentina, integrates the documentation through the drawing of the Huarpe indigenous territory.

Since she was a child she has practiced hiking in natural spaces.

Many of her projects begin by walking. She understands walking as an attitude of freedom, openness, adaptation, questioning, of making thinking more flexible and decolonizing, of transforming, broadening the gaze, of unlearning and learning.

In these walk she finds inspiration and the elements that she then uses to create. The results are gestural drawings, stains, photos, prints or actions in search of new meanings-

Stop the time (Traces - 09/2021)

Listen the silence.

Stillness rushes

brings ancestral messages.

Unexpected signal

timely.

Magic?

Find calm

Compose new sense.

Stop the time

make it sensitive.

Be pure nature.
