Norma Bianco

Norma Bianco

Norma Adriana Bianco was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

Multidisciplinary artist; her training in plastic arts has always been accompanied by movement, dance and theatre.

The work is conceived from a body affected by an emotion, a state. First, the movement emerges and is then expressed through colours and texts with charcoals.

She studied at the School of Visual Arts in Lomas de Zamora, where she lives. She concluded her training in the workshops of Jesús Marcos, Ernesto Pesce, Eduardo Stupía, Nestor Goyanes and María Emilia Marroquín.

Currently, she does Art Clinic along with Fabiana Barreda and Margarita García Faure.

She is part of the Collective of Artists “Naturaleza Viva Arte” under the curatorship of Fabiana Barreda and the Arazzo Company of Physical Theatre with the direction of Ximena Romero.

“Now I am light, now I fly, now I see myself passing under me, now a god dances in me”.

The beginning (Traces - 11/2022)

White space

As a mat of experiences under my feet,

I feel like treading once again this second first time.

In silence arise the memories of how I learned to build myself up little by little.

Sheets of paper unravel in front of me, soaked in colour; seemingly the living witnesses that relieve my dreams.

Written sheets, painted sheets, blank sheets.

White space… white.

I touch, breathe, kiss, bite, savour and even make love to it.

I hear a whisper of promises of open skies, of unheard songs, of other hands, of other beating…

When to begin? NOW. Like this, with these clothes, with this gait, with these skins that shamelessly lurk.

I see myself standing at the edge of a trampoline and the spirit of adventure awakens in me.

The fingers slide and rehearse a new rhythm.

Everything is close… so close, at the distance of a single step: that of the BEGINNING.
