Egg Tooth (When the nest became a cage) (Traces - 06/2023)

Egg tooth is understood as a cone-shaped structure possessed by some species of turtles and crocodiles, as well as some groups of birds, which use it to break their eggs.

The tooth allows the hatchling to pierce the egg shell from the inside and break free.

The egg tooth is essential for the hatching of the chicks of most species; if they fail to develop one, they will die inside the egg.

Departure

Every trip needs preparation. Every road has a beginning. Being ready, a catch of air.

Release the ballast; travel light to arrive without load, without weight.

Virgin, naked.

Start again.

I am looking for an egg tooth like a turtle, that will help me to hatch, to open, to make a split. As deep as possible.

And go out,

and throw me into the sea.
