SM Pro Art Circle Funding

SM Pro Art Circle wishes to encourage the participation of artists, from all over the world, who wish to attend the seminar Art in the Origin, Art Experience in Cantabria, who do not have sufficient funds to afford the participation fee and have not been beneficiaries of any of the fellowships offered.
For this, SM Pro Art Circle offers grants, up to 40% of the value of the participation fee for the seminar, for those artists who require it and whose projects deserve such distinction.

The seminar:
All information about Art in the Origin, Art Experience in Cantabria is at: https://www.circleproart.com/en-gb/art_in_the_origin

The participation fee of Art in the Origin is € 2500 and includes the fees of our team members who accompany and guide the attendees during the 9 days of the experience, 8 nights of accommodation in a Rural Hostel in a single room with private bathroom, all meals, snacks, the collection of participants in the city of Santander and all transfers to the places where we will work, entrance to the caves, cable car and taxes.

Funding:
Funding Amount:
SM Pro Art Circle will have a total amount of € 5,000 per year for these grants. These funds will be divided into € 3,000 for the three dates of the May / June seminars and € 2,000 for the two dates of the seminars in September / October.
The Funding, which each applicant can receive, will not exceed a 40% of a participation fee, that is, a maximum of € 1,000 for each of the beneficiaries.
SM Pro Art Circle will freely dispose of the total budget of the Funding and may propose, where appropriate, a smaller percentage so that it can be distributed among a larger number of applicants.
Each requesting artist must pay the rest of the participation fee not covered by the Funding as indicated in the Participation Conditions.
The artist who requires the Funding must also be in the city of Santander, Cantabria (Spain) on the date required to be picked up by our team and transferred to the city where the seminar base is established.
The Funding may not be added to the Fellowships or other discounts or benefits offered for the Art in the Origin Seminar and will be deducted from the payment of the participation fee not being exchangeable for cash.

Submission and selection method:
Submission for 2020 Funding is open until July 1, 2020 and applications are evaluated twice a year.
